The bigger of the two Cinema Sunshines in Numazu. Located on the third floor of the LaLaport shopping centre. Great selection of showings (including films not being played at the other Cinema Sunshine in BiVi), easy-to-use ticket machines and in a great location to while away the time (restaurants and shops galore, and the unfortunately-named Korona World game centre). Cinema Sunshine also offers a stamp card which is great for regular moviegoers; six stamps and ¥210 for another film (you'll probably have to ask them for the card though). Regular rotation of screenings of older films at cheaper-than-usual ticket costs for their 午前十時の映画祭 (10 A.M. film festival), where you can watch classics like "Lawrence of Arabia" and "My Fair Lady".

Love this cinema! The rooms were well labeled and neat. No funky smell. The staff are observant and always available to help you if you are not sure where to go, especially if you are foreigner who cannot speak Nihongo. I also love their movie food options. They have something for every budget. I especially love the big size coke that you can share with a friend.

Good theater. Nice screen and seating. Polite and efficient staff. Rating it 3 stars as not many movies in English and the ones that are in English have Japanese subtitles which ruin the viewing experience. Also, no 4D movies in English.
